Commercial and industrial projects do not require a pre-lien notice. Those wishing to acquire a lien on the property must file in the county where the property is situated and within 90 days after performing the work for commercial, industrial or utility projects.
For residential it is 60 days. To enforce the lien a suit must be filed no later than one year after the lien is filed. Engineers are entitled to liens. Indiana Code Title 32, Article 28
